Harrietville is the last stop before the Great Alpine Road begins to wind up towards the spectacular Mount Feathertop and the popular ski resort of Mount Hotham. The Victorian Alps may conjure images of snowy peaks and downhill skiing, but there is still plenty to do in summer, autumn and spring!

A must see for motorbike riders and 4WD enthusiasts. Come and experience the many tracks that wind up and around the hills in this magnificant alpine area. Car and motorbike enthusiasts from across Australia make the pilgrimage to the Great Alpine Road for its stunning views across the Great Divide. Others come to walk through the region's unique landscape - the snow gums, valleys and wild flowers.

If you love bushwalking then Harrietville is the place to be, with the famous Bungalow Spur and Bon Accord bushwalking tracks at your doorstep. These challenging walks bring people from all over Australia and overseas to try. There are also some short town walks to enjoy, or you could go for a bike ride or mountain bike adventure.
