You can eat in or takeaway. Play a game of pool as you watch our 106cm plasma TV, or step out into the beer garden, where you can enjoy a glass of locally produced wine.
Morries Ice Creamery
Not only does Morries sell delicious gourmet ice cream, but its breakfast and lunch menus are full of homemade sandwiches, soups, muffins and scones. The big outdoor dining area looks right over the river, and local buskers contribute to the relaxing ambience.
Lavender Hue Tea Room
The tearooms are surrounded by a beautiful lavender crop, which provides a stunning backdrop during summer. Sit on the pergola and sample a range of lavender-made items, including scones, biscuits, milkshakes and ice cream. The tearooms are open from Thursday to Sunday.
Stop in at neighbouring Bright for this rustic wine bar and café, which takes advantage of its riverside location with a beautiful outdoor dining area. Sit at wide communal tables shrouded by oak trees, and enjoy a menu dominated by tapas.
Simone’s is housed in a beautiful Victorian cottage in the heart of Bright. Its chef, who is renowned in the Melbourne food and wine industry, serves up dishes inspired by her Italian background.
Coral Lee is a funky breakfast spot in Bright. Its ‘70s inspired décor creates a great atmosphere – vinyl records even play on a turntable in the corner. The menu is full of your standard breakfast fare, but it also features some diverse vegetarian options.
